COMPETITION UNDER NATIONAL PROGRAM FOR EMPLOYMENT OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

The Agency for People with Disabilities /AHU/ announces a competition under the NATIONAL PROGRAM FOR EMPLOYMENT OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, according to Art. 44, Paragraph 1 of the Law on People with Disabilities.
This program aims to encourage and support employers from a usual work environment to create employment conditions for people with permanent disabilities, including for the fulfillment of quota obligations; it is aimed at people with permanent disabilities, since employment in a usual work environment leads to the fastest socialization of people with permanent disabilities.
Funds are allocated under this program for the following areas of action, tentatively called components:
1. Ensuring access to existing or newly opened jobs for persons with permanent disabilities of working age.
2. Adaptation of existing jobs for persons with permanent disabilities of working age.
3. Equipping new workplaces for persons with permanent disabilities of working age, corresponding to the nature of their illness.
4. Qualification and requalification, respectively training for professional and service development.
The maximum subsidy amount by component is as follows:
Component 1 – up to BGN 10,000;
Component 2 – up to BGN 10,000;
Component 3 – up to BGN 10,000;
Component 4 – up to BGN 1,000 per person with a permanent disability.

The project proposals, together with the required documents, are submitted in a folder arranged systematically, in the order described in the table for the assessment of administrative compliance /appendix 3/, and with a cover letter in the office of the AHU in one of the following ways:
1. On site, in the office of the AHU, at the address: Sofia, 1233, “Sofroniy Vrachanski” Str. No. 104-106, all documents uploaded electronically, signed and scanned, or on paper, accompanied by an electronic version of the same documents. Deadline for submitting projects: 5:30 p.m. on April 15, 2021.
2. Through a licensed postal operator with a return receipt with a postmark or by courier, no later than the deadline for submitting the projects for the competition, all documents uploaded electronically, signed and scanned, or on paper, accompanied by an electronic version of the same documents. Deadline for submitting projects: 5:30 p.m. on April 15, 2021.
3. By electronic means, under the conditions and according to the procedure of the Law on the electronic document and electronic certification services, or signed and scanned at the indicated electronic address of AHU – e-mail: ahu_zaetost@mlsp.government.bg. Deadline for submitting projects: 5:30 p.m. on April 15, 2021.
Immediately after submitting the project proposal, each applicant is obliged to request from the AHU an incoming number with which the project proposal was entered in the record-keeping system, no later than the deadline for submitting project proposals. The received incoming number proves that the project proposal was submitted on time.
