EMPLOYERS WILL RECEIVE UP TO BGN 10,000. FOR AN ADAPTED WORKPLACE FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

Employers can submit projects under the National Program for Employment of People with Disabilities until August 13. Proposals are submitted to the Agency for People with Disabilities, the Ministry of Social Affairs announced.
Under the program, up to BGN 10,000 is allocated to finance projects to ensure access to existing or new jobs for persons with permanent disabilities of working age. Activities to adapt new and existing jobs for persons with permanent disabilities of working age are also financed. Employers can receive up to BGN 10,000 for each adapted workplace.
The recipients of the funding must keep the employed people employed for no less than 36 months after the conclusion of the contract for the provision of the funds.
Under the program, funds will also be allocated for qualification and requalification, as well as for training for professional and professional development of people with disabilities. For this purpose, employers will be able to receive up to BGN 200 for one worker.
The total budget of the program for 2019 is BGN 4.4 million.
