COMPETITION FOR FINANCING PROJECTS TO CREATE CENTERS FOR PROTECTED EMPLOYMENT

The Agency for People with Disabilities (AHU) announces a competition for financing projects for the creation of Centers for Protected Employment (CZZ).
According to Component 1 – Creation of a CPP, participants in the competition can be specialized enterprises and cooperatives of people with disabilities, labor and treatment centers, as well as any organization registered under the current legislation. Applicants with project proposals according to this Methodology must be newly formed economic entities, and their subject of activity must be a CPP, complying with Art. 52 of the Law on Persons with Disabilities. Funding the creation of these centers aims to create the work skills and habits of a minimum of 15 persons with multiple permanent disabilities, along with the provision of a minimum package of personal support services. The construction of the Center includes investment activities for its creation and direct activities related to the functioning of the center for 18 months or a total of 22 months. The goal is to create the conditions for people with multiple permanent disabilities, including people with intellectual disabilities and mental disorders, to earn money from work, both in the conditions of protected employment, and later in the usual work environment.
Under Component 2 – Maintaining the sustainability of activities for up to 18 months in an established CPP, participants in the competition can be active CPPs.
The projects are prepared according to the Methodology for financing projects for the creation of Centers for protected employment.
1. The maximum amount of the subsidy under Component 1 is up to BGN 300,000
2. The maximum amount of the subsidy under Component 2 is up to BGN 180,000.
